Long Weekend

I created this personal piece with a focus on material creation as well as mood and composition. I was inspired by the work of Simon Stålenhag, and wanted to create a scene that referenced a bleak, yet familiar potential future. I didn't have a specific concept I was going off of, and ended up iterating on the scene while concepting/composing in 3D.

The scene was put together in Unreal Engine 4. I did all the modelling except for the rocks and grass, which are Megascans. Ground textures were created using Quixel Mixer/Megascans. I textured the remaining assets using Substance Painter and Photoshop.
